TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 18/12/2025

These Terms & Conditions apply to all works carried out by Solent Renewables (“we”, “us”, “our”). By instructing us to carry out works, you agree to these terms.

1) Quotations & surveys

All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time and, where applicable, subject to a site survey.

If additional works are identified during installation that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of quotation, we will discuss these with you before proceeding.

Quotations are valid for a limited period as stated and may be withdrawn if conditions change.

2) Acceptance of works

Acceptance of a quotation confirms agreement to the scope of works described.

Work will not normally commence until acceptance is received and any agreed deposit or pre-installation requirements have been met.

3) Payments

Payment terms will be clearly stated on the quotation or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed:

- Deposits may be required prior to installation

- Final payment is due upon completion of works

Late payments may result in delays to certification or documentation until payment is received.

4) Installation & access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property during the installation period.

We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, third-party contractors, weather conditions or events outside of our control.

5) Standards & compliance

All electrical and installation works are carried out by qualified electricians and installers in accordance with:

- Current regulations

- Manufacturer installation guidelines

- MCS standards (where applicable)

6) Warranties & guarantees

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Workmanship guarantees, where applicable, will be outlined at the time of installation.

We are not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions beyond our control.

7) Performance & savings

Any performance estimates, savings figures or payback periods provided are indicative only.

Actual performance will vary depending on system design, usage patterns, weather conditions and tariff rates.

8) Cancellations

Cancellation rights are provided in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.

Details of cancellation rights will be provided where required.

9) Liability

We maintain appropriate insurance cover for the work we carry out.

Our liability is limited to the value of the works carried out, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10) Complaints

If you have any concerns about the works carried out, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the issue.
