This change is planned to take effect from 1st April 2025 for properties rented to new tenants, and from 1st April 2028 for all existing tenancies. Currently, there are approximately 4.44 million privately rented properties in the UK, with an estimated 79% of these properties having an EPC rating of D or below.
Our services include a comprehensive assessment of your property conducted by RICS surveyors. We provide a detailed cost-benefit analysis of the necessary improvements required to ensure your property remains legally lettable once the new legislation comes into force.
